At The Chilterns, High Wycombe, a programme of works is currently underway focused on asset management and safety across the centre. These works are not related to the proposed new development and involve making certain areas safe.

Our appointed contractor for these works is Putnam, who is acting as Principal Contractor and holds full responsibility under CDM regulations. Dandara can also be contacted directly should you have any concerns.

These works do not form part of the planning application or the resolution to grant consent for the future redevelopment. We are continuing discussions with Buckinghamshire Council regarding the Section 106 agreement and will provide progress updates in due course.

The works programme, starting on 16th February, is expected to last approximately eight weeks. Further updates will be shared as the programme progresses.

As part of these works, the main entrances into the centre are permanently closed and will not reopen once the works are complete. Existing tenants whose premises are accessed directly from the street remain open as usual and are not affected.

Our managing agent, Scoop, continues to act on our behalf in relation to asset management and can also be contacted if required.

We continue to sponsor High Wycombe Life magazine, a publication led by the High Wycombe Community Board that shares positive local news. It is distributed in print to local households and is also available online.

Recent editions have highlighted local enterprise and creativity, including features on The Front Room’s Coffee Lounge and artists Jan and Katrin Gaska, helping to celebrate small businesses and creative talent in High Wycombe.
